It was an honour to be part of an IMF mission to Fiji to undertake a Public Investment Management Assessment (PIMA)— especially meaningful as Fiji is the country I was born in.
The assessment focused on how public investment decisions are planned, funded, delivered, and maintained, with a strong lens on climate resilience in a vulnerable island nation.
Key recommendations included Sharpening national and sector investment priorities, and strengthening project appraisal and selection.
Grateful to work alongside dedicated Fijian officials and IMF colleagues on work that sits where policy, investment, climate, and lived outcomes meet - Read the report here.
